Every Monday is preparation day on the mission. We wash our clothes, do our shopping, etc. Well today these two kind elders took us to the Renick on the north side of town. We affectionally call it Chinese Wal-Mart. You can get anything you want at this place. It is an open market and some of the vendors have their own little unit which is actually a metal shipping container made into a store. There are hundreds of these little stores jammed in to this area and it is quite the experience to walk throught and hear Russian, Chinese, etc. You all know that Alice is a good "shopper" so I entitled todays posts as "Alice in Wonderland". She is in her element here and managed to buy a Spring coat. The video shows her triumphant exit from this most "wonderful" place. Note the two elders working security after this fantastic find!!! Can we get a runway walk with the spring coat on? That does look like a victory walk. Way to get a deal, mom!
Good to see your shopping skills have not dulled. You need to keep your skills sharp if you expect to keep up with us after you get home!
