Here is the font. We had to do a test run since we have had no experience with this type of font. So we set it up and filled it up. The water is pretty typical for Ussurisk if you think it is an odd color. The font came with a 50 foot garden hose and a hookup for a faucet.

Here Elder Roberts is going through the motions of the baptismal ordinance. Brave Elder Stegelmeier takes the first plunge in the new font. He was a really good sport because we probably did it 8 times until we were sure how it would work during a real baptism. Now getting the water out was a bigger deal then getting it in. We created a syphon with the provided garden hose and also used buckets to expedite the process. It all folds up into a carrying case that can be handled by one person.

That is crazy stuff. I'm sure you are so glad to have one but it seems a little small. Hopefully you are baptizing someone who is really really short. The water looks pretty nasty. You'd better take those good elders out for pizza for their bravery.
Wow, that's exciting. Where do you need to carry it to? Won't it just stay in your chapel? I guess you could bring it to your apartment for some water aerobics.
Holy Cow! I can not believe something like that even exists. very interesting.
that's crazy. I think I should send my pool instead to give you a little more room!
Are you sure the sins will come OFF in water like that? The font looks a little different than the ones we used in Chile but the water is OH, SO, FAMILIAR. The elders used a technique called "SWEEP THE LEGS" to ensure that the new members went all the way under. Just as the person goes under use your foot to sweep their their legs out from under them so that they are actually flat in the water. They all thought it was a good trick, and it got the job done.
Make good use of the font! LOves
